BIG have a Left 4 Dead Server

As we helped out the [BIG] guys with their L4D server they were kind enough to supply us with the IP/Password of their server. So, if our L4D server is full you can nip along to:

217.146.93.56:27035 password "b1gger"

and be sure of a good game a friendly welcome.

They are currently running it in Co-op mode.

I am having problems adding any left 4 dead servers to my steam favorites i have even verified my left 4 dead files just to be certain its not the files that are the reason why its not working.

Basically i can find the address but then it won't add them after i click the add to favorites button.

Any ideas whats up as i really want to add both the dmw and big servers to my list

Basically when you add it it disappears - same thing happens to me.

Create a shortcut on your desktop as per my other posts - much faster

I use HLSW. You can join from it too.

I have reported the problem to steam with screenshots and will post here the solution when it arrives.

It is by design ghosty, they want you to join through lobbies so the server browser doesnt work

Binding a key to 'openserverbrowser' in-game works though, and it saves your favourites too.

BB has answered this elsewhere I'm sure but basically the only way to get this to work properly for us is to have a private (passworded) server that we access via desktop shortcut or (I believe) HLSW. All other combinationd are broken in one way or another.
