Aye, as the man says they'll open in a month or so (or when Sheepy decides).

Cheers

DarkAngel

Looking forward to the next one :)

Guys, how much money do you take roughly to a LAN, ie for beers and meals etc?, the only reason i ask is that this LAN is towards the end of the month (the wrong end of payday), and i am crap with money , just wondering so i can save if i decide to come along

Edit: i drink a shed load of beer :D

sulky_uk

including the hotel and lan costs you'd be alright with about 220 ish

through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Room: Ã,£50 if single p/n
meals: c. Ã,£25 in hotel if in for steaknight and Ã,£6.99 for on the Saturday for pizza. (Steak night's not compulsory of course).
Beers. Tough one. how many pints in a 'shed load'? If you can convert shedload to pints and then multiply by Ã,£2.50 then you'll have your answer :)

Sparko, if you keep to beers, don';t worry.
If you want to keep up with the guys and the wine and whiskey, you'll have a heavier amount of money to spend.

nah i dont do spirits mate, i like my beer too much

are you alowed to bring tins/bottles to have whilst your playing? i dont mean to get really drunk its just i like a few whilst playing, it helps my aim.....alot lol :woot2:

also, im rather reluctant to come as i would end up turning up on my own, and i dont particularly know anyone as such. Does anyone that is going live in the north east (near cleethorpes/Grimsby) that would be able to car share? or is this a little too early to ask? (never been to anything like this before but really want too) :g:

I wouldn't worry about that, we're a friendly bunch :)

Just try not to spill Sheepy's pint and you'll be fine.

I felt this way when I turned up for my first LAN.. I can honestly say the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Remember we already know you from the servers. The person behind the keyboard can't be that freakish.. Wait until you meet Ghost Mjr in person!!! :narnar::boxing:
