A deserved win for Tut, Frenzy, Browne and Lumi. That really hurt to say

Outside that, massive thanks to Lumi for stepping in. Again, best laughs of the night on the hospital finale, 4 escapees versus.....NONE!

(Sn00ks, how can we offload the deadwood in our team without offending them?)

Yea, sorry about that. I stayed up on Tuesday night to see one of my mates before he went back to the US, and it involved a Ã,Â£100 bottle of Tequila.

Sorry about my absence. I did tell Frenzy that I might not be able to make it due to being on a family visit in Wales and we arrived back about half an hour late so i hope i didn't cause too much of a problem!

i took the liberty of writing down how many views this thread has had since i posted the monday messaage and it has been read 56 times since then. So on the law of averages any one of the "4" could have looked and seen my post. Guess you just want to play as a "4"

I'll look at everything else later when I get some time.

What I'd suggest for tonight is to play from 8:15.

I'm at a football match until 8pm so may be late, feel free to carry on without me and I'll join if there is still a slot. So......no formalities tonight. I know Lib and Oldie are playing, so game on, albeit a little less organised than usual.

Goodness Sulky, settle down, OUR team for Wednesday night is almost always the same, albeit with some subs when one or another can't make it.

Get a team together (We've shown that you can do that if you persevere); challenge the admins, set a time, bob's your auntie. No use crying that we PM each other, we do, we're a team!

It now looks like we have a pool now of seven players willing to rumble Wednesday nights: I'm willing to drop out for every alternate week if that satisfies you.

Frenzy has done a great job in keeping this Wednesday thing going, with basically the same team, which is what it's all about. I know that Jewelz was trying to put a team together a while back with GMj, and succeeded in doing so as they had a game v. the admins one Wednesday night, they played the winners of the first match.

I don't think its just a matter of putting your name in this thread anymore, I think you have to do a little work in gathering your team together, as Frenzy has done consistently for the past few months, working from a pool of 5 or 6.

List of players that frequent the server: (leaving out the admins)

Frenzy, Tut, Browne, Target, (thats the original challenging team), Lumi, Tox, Rizzy, Sulky, Duvel, GMj, Jewelz, Pen, Boon. Theres probably more but if you can't get a team out of that lot......

fair enough, but tbh the point of this thread was to use it as a place to get ppl together and get teams organised, just because you have the same team every wednesday night doesnt give you lot the inherant right to claim that slot as you own, most of us cant manage to play from 2000- 2300 every night on the server which is the approx time for a match on a wednesday. I manage to get that time cleared from my other bits and bobs on the wedenesday night only.

As for if i put a little effort in..............I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF TRYING TO DO THAT EARLIER IN THE YEAR WHEN I HAD 6 OR 7 PPL LINED UP FOR A 4 SLOT GAME VS THE ADMINS AND ONLY THE ADMINS AND I WOULD TURN UP. It happened several times, you guys have just been lucky that you got 4 players together that seem to be willing to play every wednesday.

im not slagging you guys off, you have done well to get a stable team, but may i suggest giving the rest of us a chance to get a team together instead of assuming you are playing every wed

The "inherent right" you speak of, just doesn't exist. We just happen to be able to field a team every week; because we have ORGANISED a stable team (much of the kudos for this go to frenz, he keeps us together), it cannot be that difficult if we managed it. In saying that, you are very welcome to have my place on the team tonight, if only you promise to stop bitching...

Much better that that, give another go to organising another team. We do NOT have eternal rights to the server on Wednesdays, we never assumed that we had.
