I hope so. US games ignore any conflict where the USA were not front-and-centre. First World War, Second World War 1938-1942, Fawklands Conflict and many others such as the 3 day war in Holland, The Lapland War, the First Arab-Israeli War 1948, Congo, Nigeria, Chad, etc.

The Swedish devs, like most Europeans should have a wider world-view.

As far as BF 3 goes. Very excited by what I've seen so far. CoD is very stale and BF:BC2 isn't that enjoyable, I miss BF2 and hope that this will live up to the hype.

The usual console-kiddy whinging about snipers "But we won't see them!" really? Like in, well, REAL LIFE then? This just means choppers will be more about sniper hunting and less about a quick means of traversing the map.

How many times have you got in a heli and the pilot jumped out without warning because HE had arrived at the location he wanted? Grrr.
Idea for BF3 - give negative points for crashing an undamaged heli or plane!

I like pretty much everything I see about BF3, the only thing that gets on my tits is the loud nonsense they play that sounds like a bit from Terminator 2 played really loud through really crap speakers.
