I managed to scoop them up, but they where still marked as stolen. We need to try again out in deep space. We where only 10 KM from a station last night.

BTW. Is there a black market in those systems? I have stolen Silver I need to shift....

Thrudds web page can be used to search for black markets near your current locations. Try that out and if your current system isn't listed yet choose one near to where you currently are docked.

Yay, finally gotten to SOL, docked in Abraham Lincon.
Now have 38,000CR thanks to system scanning and a few bounties en route. Took about 3 hours, discovering almost everything I found along the way, dying once in combat which took me back a few hops.

Beginner notes:
HEAT damage kills the hull which is expensive to repair I was mainly looking at module health and they looked fine :/
If you're not refueling, ensure you have fuel for TWO jumps as the next hop may not have a station or a living star to refuel @ via a scoop.

I'm away most of the weekend, but should be on tonight for a while.
Have we chosen a hub system yet? I think I'll start looking towards a hauler soon and have a spot of trading, or mining the belts I discovered.

I think we should put votes down for a Hub as it's unfair those of us who have had more time to grind our credits dictating the home station.

I would ask, has anyone achieved anything higher than Neutral with any Faction as yet?

I am close with the Beta and Zeta (Trianguli Australis) systems. I must say Zeta excites me as it has good trade routes but we may be able to find trade routes through Beta with you all involved, I know I struggled but I also didn't have much external info to work with. Beta also has the upgrades.

So I vote Beta or Zeta Trianguli Australis.

I just bought a hauler myself. fitted it with 8 cargo capactity, refinery and mining laser to see if I can improve on the 40-60k per 40 mins I made in the freagel mining.
Hopefully will find out during the week!

Snap, also just bought the 8 capacity hauler, got 30k in the bank. I'm currently trading around Mokosh which is about 80LY from SOL. Been doing about 8-9k per return trip, which is a 6LY jump and a 25LS/2500LS FSD. Not sure what that makes me per hour but I'll slowly max out capacity. Need to find some more profitable trade routes.

Wow, the difference between this and the hauler is ridiculous, I feel safe(ish) again.

Wondering about taking a trip back to my start location to trash my Sidewinder that's there. Maybe hold out for a couple of weeks until they announce wipe/no wipe status.
