Norway Part Deux- July 2015

So after a pretty big discussion on Hangouts and looking at flights it’s time to try and get the ball rolling for Norway Part Deux.
 
Summer 2015 is the plan with the usual drinks, shooting and any other activities people want to do in Alesund, Norway.
 
Accommodation is still being worked on but this is down to the number of us likely to go on the trip.
 
Budget- £300-£400 Includes flights £90-£100 ish.
 
Having looked at the flights Thursday- Sunday is not possible from Gatwick (our original long weekend plan) due to a 6-8hr journey time caused by a stopover in Oslo on the way to and from Alesund.
 
Therefore we have looked at Friday to Monday options and these have come back at very competitive prices.
 
Option 1 (Preferred)- 24^th July 2015- 27^th July 2015
 
Outbound: Gatwick 11:35 Arrive 14:45 Alesund (£64.90)
Inbound: Alesund 15:10 Arrive 16:30 Gatwick (£28.70)
Total:£93.60
 
Option 2- 17^th July 2015- 20^th July 2015
 
Outbound: Gatwick 11:35 Arrive 14:45 Alesund (£64.90)
Inbound: Alesund 15:10 Arrive 16:30 Gatwick (£38.70)
Total:£103.60

Due to accommodation issues we have had to stick with the earlier July dates of 17/7/15-20/7/15.

First post amended to reflect this.

People are beginning to book hotels/ flights to secure things.

Well, considering the amount of alcohol that was consumed last time, the brewery had to ramp up beer/ale production to cater for the sales spike during dMw LANs.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be enough beer/ale available!
