Just got the 380's having come from the DSP400's................number of things.....these are great, and at £20 are a complete bargain for a cost conscious gamer.............I haven't had closed ear cups for as long as I can remember so I am not a great fan BUT.......credit where it's due.....the sound quality is extremely good at the price point and surprisingly (for me) they are entirely comfortable after six hours of wear......................I still want to be a Naturist and order another set of the 400's.......but if you like your cups enclosed and don't want to be a audio naturist with your ears hanging out.....then these are fantastic value!!  :)

Try this solution.

No cord, so no nasty accidents for your hoover!

I read the 380s were open cup as I was all ready to order a pair weeks ago before reading that. I'll have to look at them again. Any sound leakage from them at reasonable volumes ?

The Siberia V2 headset is superb, and comes in at just under £60. Highly recommended.

Had this headset for about 2 months now and it is amazing.

Only tonight have I decided to listen to music on it and I'm not kidding you it's the best sound I have heard through some headphones ever, I only bought them for gaming but to have a good listen to some music they are spot on too :)

Absolutely brilliant!

not a bad call, although it's only a very small area, it's usually tucked away but having a long cord it can stick out at times.

My headset is fixed now, the 780's were not bad, but the Corsair's are still better!

I happen to have recently bought a set of Vengeance 2000's, the 2100's look like a very minor upgrade which means they're a very fine headset indeed.

Awesome sound, comfortable, and I can wander around my flat while you lot natter at me on Teamspeak.

I'm preparing for when my Creative Wireless headphones bite the dust, and given that one phone had to be glued back to the head set with Araldite a few months ago I expect shortly. My only question is when you extend the phones out to fit what is the area that becomes exposed like in terms of thickness? I need to be able to attach a TrackIR Clip Pro to them which can clip onto a flat surface no thicker than 5mm or so.

So with TrackIR

I've actually swapped the Vengeance headset for a Steelseries H Wireless recently Albert. There's nothing wrong with the Vengeance, I just fancied a change and the Steelseries comes with 2 swappable batteries which is rather nice.

I can bring the Vengeance to the LAN if you want to have a play with them - it's for sale if you're tempted.

How much ?

I've got the 2100 wireless and they're superb. Like anything wireless  / rechargeable it does take plugging in (especially at a LAN).

Not sure about width and track IR. Let me know where you want me to put the tape.

If you're not using the USB headset and it's turned off, does the sounds automatically default to the speakers - or can you make it?
