My first LAN 2004 (we married 2005, good memory Pen), I remember feeling a little lost as I managed to miss a few boats for dinner. Pen and his wife kindly offered to put up with me :). I felt a bit of a gooseberry at the start but you guys made me feel very welcome at your table. I remember it fondly. That atmosphere has carried on every LAN I've been to, so (bringing it back on topic) that's why you should all get yourselves signed up :)

Great idea about the Spa, I will see if Helen fancies doing something similar.

Taken the plunge.

I have booked my room. I'll be coming up early Friday.

I shall be bringing the DK2 so you guys can have a go on Elite: Dangerous in VR.

Hi guys,  im definetly planning on popping down on friday evening and sharing a good few beverages with you all!

is there a schedule of whats going on and when etc. what games you shall be playing etc etc?

Sorry to report that Paddy and I will be attending from Thurday now instead of Friday. Good thing I phoned the hotel to sort it as they had me and Paddy sharing a double....Awkward moment when i explained he wasnt my other half but my son :blush:

Hi Supa,

Sorry for the delay and that no ones posted back to you yet.

It would be great to see you.

Friday is normally a 'free play' day where people make ad hoc groups to game whatever they fancy. Normally this covers all the supported games (which will be published shortly) but also other games which people just want to play and co-op with.

Friday night is always Steak Night. We take over a room at the hotel and all sit around, eating drinking and socialising. the gaming continues after dinner and it's a mix of people gaming or chilling and chatting in the bar. Saturday is the day for organised comps and Saturday night is unscheduled. Some people head out for Pizza, Chinese, kebabs etc others eat in and some go off pubbing and clubbing.....  

When are you coming down? Are you staying over? Have you booked a room (mentioning dMw) to get a subsidised room rate?

I've just checked with the hotel and they have you down as not staying the Saturday night Sulks so I've changed that for you.

Can everyone else please note that I've told the hotel they can free up the rooms to sell elsewhere now. So, if you're thinking about coming, please make your mind up and book your room as soon as possible.
