Ok, so I have just booked the hotel to attend my first LAN event...eva!   I would like to attend as a LAN member, arriving Thursday.  How do I sort the attendance fee?

We will collect £25 attendance at the event, which also makes you a supporting DMw member for a year, bargin at twice the amount. But wait there is more, the money helps us host the lan and also our servers for the year. Also if you were to attend the October lan you would only need to pay the £10 lan fees  for that lan as you are covered for a year. If I'm wrong in any of that can an admin correct the post. Been driving for 8 hours, now sitting in Scotland waiting for a ferry to Ireland

I'm afraid to say I will now not be able to come to the LAN.

My mother is seriously ill in hospital and was critical over the weekend. I had to cut short my Gadget Show trip and rush back. Currently we are with her in shifts as the hospital's total ineptitude is likely to kill her if someone competent isn't there on overwatch. They've already turned a minor infection of the gall bladder into pnemonia and near miss of renal failure. Basically we can't leave her, so I can't contemplate going away right now.

Hopefully I can make the October LAN.
