It's worth considering that the LAN is a noisy environment. In a quiet room they will probably sound like they leak a lot more.

That's why we origially agreed to get closed cups - so my gaming sound would not leak to her TV sound.
Turns out this affects my hearing too much, so she's willing to put up with a little leakage.

Hi all,

My TurtleBeach P11's (I know, right) are finally giving in, and I haven't shopped around any to see what's about. Figured I'd tap you lot up first.

Requirements:-
Wireless - Have a baby who likes to pull wires.
Closed cup - Have a baby who likes to make noise.
Excellent sound quality - See previous
Excellent mic - So you lot can hear my soothing voice in all it's glory.

Having read the previous comments about music/gaming mix. They're are to be mostly going to be used for gaming, although I do like a bit of Westlife.

Thanks in advance!

I have a pair of these: https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/h-wireless

Expensive, but I can't really fault them. The swappable battery is fantastic.

:withstupid: +1 for the Steelseries H, I've used them now for a while and they work fine! The mic isn't the best one out there but if I can make myself understood on it I'm sure you can :taz:
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

No Mic?

Blunt

Sennheisers for me.

Practically perfect in every way.

Must be 4 or 5 years old and still excellent.

Not cheap though, but you really do get what you pay for.

My Senns have out lasted 3 sets of Medusas

The mic retracts fully into the left side of the headset. If you've seen or used the Siberia headset, it's exactly the same.

So I bought a few pairs of headphones to try out over the last week.

Corsair CGH2100 - Which were really good, great sound, great awareness. But they wouldn't charge. - Returned.
Hyper x Cloud II - Great noise cancellation, OK mic, Didn't get the awareness i'd like for £70 - Returned, but bought a pink pair for the Mrs at £48.
Steelseries Siberia Elite Prism - Fantastic headphones, pointless LED lights, quiet mic even at full volume - Returned.

What Sennheisers do you have Blunt?

Any other suggestions? I'd try the Steelseries H wireless but they have the same mic as the Elite Prisms.

RogueTaylor

i got some green ones lol not sure what there called

Blunt

I got the PC350's Jewelz.
Still going strong!
