i got these RAZER Kraken  and they are really good, they have great sound quality and look pretty cool, i see a lot of gaming tournaments using them as well

Currently looking at new headphones myself.
Of the 3 i was looking at Jewelz just put me off 2 of them.

Not sure if it is a typo, but the SteelSeries Siberia Elite in black are £100 cheaper than everywhere else.

The last set i am looking at are Sennheiser GAME ON from Amazon @ £144.

From reviews the Steelseries microphones are generally quiet and the Hyper X Cloud II sets can be unreliable with the microphones being unreliable.
Cannot find much about the Sennheiser GAME ON sets. Need to find them cheaper than £144 though.

From memory Oldie has a set of the Sennheiser's and loves them.   I've currently got the Sennheiser PC363D and I think they are superb.  I've been running with Sennheiser headsets for quite a few years now and they have been brilliant, in particular the open headsets which give an outstanding soundstage.   I did have a pair of Sennheiser's fail on me (mic boom stopped working), Sennheiser replaced my older PC360 (which were out of warranty) and gave me the brand new PC363D, so brilliant customer service too.

Can't comment on the others as I do not have them, but the Sennheiser's are brilliant.

Dexterous has the Corsair VENGEANCE 2100 wireless cans and he thinks they are great, so it might be worth looking at them too.

There's a few differences between the Elite's and Elite Prisms from memory, they've upgraded the mic and softened the padding? Might be worth a quick google. After twiddling about with settings for the Elite Prisms the mic isn't so bad after using Windows to setup the mic rather than the Steelseries software provided. I think I may exchange these for another pair and see if the next ones last longer. £77 for standard Elite's is a steal though.

Cheers TL, will take a look at them as well.
The Sennheiser's  are standing out at the minute due to reviews.

White version are £135 but through an Amazon reseller.

The game zero look nice, foldable with a carry case. Leather pads.
I was considering them but need the open not closed type so I can hear the Mrs and kids. Sigh..

Game one's are open, tad more expensive though.

The 'open' type headphones are generally more comfortable for long sessions. They let the ol' lugoles breathe.

Yup completely agree with this one!

Open does sound better, but it also leaks more noise - if you have to play in an environment like mine, where I have to keep noise to a minimum, then you might want to consider this.

My Steelseries H Wireless are still the dog's particulars by the way, love 'em.
