Just watched the 12 minute footage on youtube. It is just a compilation of all the gameplay footage we've seen so far, but seeing it all together is pretty epic. Theres also a few extra snippets at the end such as tank and jet gamplay if you stick around that long.
This game is definately in my top 5 most anticipated of this year and I just cant wait! Why are the best games always out in November!!!

i need to spend 250£ before i even think of buying it [gfx, ram, psu] , although it does look pretty awesome and i did play all the battlefield series...even 1942!..is it worth pre-ordering to get wake and the other map from bf2?

Quite a few of us have already pre-ordered this and are counting down the days :D Still no news on the beta though

When bf2 came to dmw it pushed the envelope.

Those of us who had 256 or 512mb of ram suffered.

Those who had 2gb were able to run the game without any issues.

Essentially the game pushed us to spend more on ram and at the time it was pricey.

Hopefully bf3 won't mean i need to buy a whole new rig!

Only trouble is it will be like when black ops first came out - i reckon during the first week you'll be lucky to have a few games/connect to EA server to log on to your char/solider , I know for a fact EA never seems to have sorted this problem out when they release popular games...thats a worry

Out of my three gaming rigs, only one might need extra RAM to meet that spec.

My biggest gripe is not the spec, but the rating. Does it REALLY need to have an 18 certificate? Having a "parental advisory" soundtrack just to appeal to the 15-year-old COD-playing ADHD market that thinks the F'word is cool is totally unnecessary!

If I want to hear that kind of language, I'll break Fazer's water cooling. (kidding)

And don't say "it's to be more realistic" because in real life, you don't "get better" from a bullet wound in minutes, but they put that in the game.

I agree totally.
Swearing in the sound files makes it difficult to enforce a no swearing rule on the server.
Devs should put a server option for no cussing imo

BC2 Sound files for the soliders sometimes swear when there shot at or have killed someone

Agreed but most swearing we see is towards other players and that is definitely not allowed.

Couldn't agree with you more. I think the swearing is completely unnecessary and gratuitous
